Seven-year-old Ellie Rubenfeld is the Team Captain for Team Sunny Side Up. Her team has consistently been the leading team at the Food Allergy Rockville Heroes Walk, both in size and in donations. This year, Rubenfeld was granted the honor of starting the walk as she cuts the teal ribbon, the color of food allergy awareness.

Walk participants are encouraged to share "Why They Walk." The reasons flap in the wind as they hang from a rope across the playground.

The UMCP Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) hosted its Lunar Lanterns event, Sept. 27.

Some people who attended the event placed their lunar lanterns along a ledge as they watched a fire performance. 

Attendees had the option to buy water lanterns as well, which would be later placed in the Omicron Delta Kappa Fountain (McKeldin Fountain).
