Dyson, Pre-Video Assignment
This piece has the benefit of being professionally done, but it still meets all the requirements of a good multimedia project. It's visually engaging through the use of different camera angles and cuts as well as the use of concise graphics that are easy and quick to understand. The script is very well written; engaging and humorous.
This project doesn't come from a news organization, so it's easy to understand why some of the more technical aspects are a bit shoddy. The use of video and photography intertwined together takes the viewer out of the project. The music used doesn't fade out, it abruptly cuts out instead. As far as the content is concerned, only one subject was interviewed while there are clearly more subjects available for comment.
