Blog Posting Instructions

Follow these simple rules when posting a photo to the class blog

1.     Post Title: Your Name, assignment # or name
Example: Joe Photo, video assignment #1

2.     Labels: your last name and assignment # or name
       3.  Choose the little  icon. You can upload multiple photos at once or 
attach them one at a time.

4.     After uploading your photos, click on your image(s) and choose the “large”
option.

5.     Lastly, click on the caption option and write a short caption describing the
image and anything unique about it. This could include exposure setting, 
photoshop techniques used or anything else you feel is interesting.



Photo Sizing Requirements
All photos that you post must adhere to these simple rules. If not, you may have problems when posting. And remember, even if you are not going to crop your image, you still have to size it.

1.     Using the crop tool in Photoshop, make the long dimension of you image 
10 inches long.
            Example: If your image is horizontal, the width should be 10 inches.
                             If your image is vertical, the height should be 10 inches.

2.     While still in the crop tool, make sure your ppi (pixels per inch) is set at 100

3.     The final size of your image should be under 1mb (1mb=1000k). Shoot for an
image size of 500k to 950k. Your size will vary depending on the color information of the image.
