Photo Assignment #3 Casique

On Wednesday, Sept. 21 the Latinx Monologues was held in the Colony Ballroom at the Adele H. Stamp Student Union.

People chat and wait for the Monologues to begin.

Senior Jessica Nolasco practices her lines before the Monologues. Last week, she was one of the MC's for the Latinx Heritage Month opening celebration.

Freshman Josephine Vallejo sings in Quechua and Spanish. The song is a lullaby that her parents used to sing to her when she was little.

The audience waits for the event to unfold. Faculty, staff and students all came to see student and professional performers.

The Argentine Tango Club performs at the end of the Monologues. Their grace and passion was wonderful to watch.
Senior Pepe Rebaudengo sings an old mariachi song which depicts the theme of missing one's homeland.

Junior Nick Duque looks at their phone as they practice for the Monologues.
