The Children's National Medical Center held a blood drive Tuesday and Wednesday in a bus across the street from Cole Field House.
Calling the bus a "bloodmobile" is a questionable-at-best decision, although the smiling droplets seem to be fine with it.
Several doctors are hard at work in the bloodmobile, attending to as many as three donors at a time.
Students had to register in order to donate, although some registered after entering the vehicle. After donating, they were held for about 10 minutes to be monitored by doctors (just in case).
These bandages envelop the donor's arm shortly after the needle is removed.
This is blood drawn from one person; it's enough for between four and six customers. Per the rules, bags have to be flipped over before pictures are taken (donor info is on the other side).
