Allison Hannahs is a sophomore tour guide at the University of Maryland. She is constantly relaying to her friends the little known facts of UMD, such as the number of books in McKeldin Library.
As an Environmental Science major, Allison has always had an affinity for the outdoors. She cares about the future sustainability of our planet .
Allison is also a member of the Scholars Program and Recording Secretary for her sorority Gamma Phi Beta. She said McKeldin is her favorite place to get all her work done.
Allison has been a tour guide since her freshman year and gives about 12 tours per semester.
Allison practices her tour monologue during a week when she has no tours.
