Photo Assignment #4, Malone

This piece, one of many african pieces of artwork found in the University of Maryland's Art Gallery, originates from Côte d'Ivoire and is identified as Rhythm Pounder, male.
This trio of antelope headdresses comes from an unidentified Bamana artist from Mali, a ritual object used to teach young Bamana men social values and agricultural techniques.

One of the few domestically based pieces, this GeoVanna Gonzalez pieced titled "Forever Ride or Die" was made in 2018 and was donated to the gallery as a gift from the artist.
