Photo Assignment 1, Bemb

One of the first Farmer's Markets of the semester was held Sept. 7 outside of Cole Fieldhouse. The University of Maryland hosts local vendors every year during the fall and spring months.
Sophomore government and politics major Eileen Walsh smiled as she expressed the affordability of the fresh options at the Farmer's Market. She plans to visit the market regularly for fruits and vegetables this semester.

Students inspect peaches as they moved down the line of available produce. The last Farmer's Market of the 2016 season will be Nov. 16.

The Farmer's Market is open every Wednesday from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. Vendors must pay $50 to apply for a booth at the market.
