Photo Assignment #4 Clark

The Downtown Hyattsville Arts Festival on Sept. 21 showcased local vendors and artists who utilize art as a lifestyle.
Festival attendees walk in the streets of downtown Hyattsville to see what vendors have to offer.
The festival also featured local bands who played music from all genres.
Downtown Hyattsville is known for its aesthetic appeal and vibrant colors. The Sohy Arts Building participated in the festival by selling discounted books and clothing.

A Hyattsville staple is this vehicle covered with tin. Typically, the vehicle can be seen in the residential, historic district.
Adjacent to the tin-covered van is a tin-covered car. A grandmother and her grandson check out the interior of the vehicles.
A local social justice organization, The Female Power Project, sold various prints of female game-changers in history.

One present theme of the festival was equality and diversity, demonstrated in this image.
