Photo Assignment #3, Gaskill

Thursday, Sept. 20, I went to Roosevelt High School in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, D.C. to watch an adult soccer league game.
The first game began at 7:50 p.m., giving young D.C. professionals enough time to head down to the fields.

Men and women of all backgrounds have signed up for these league teams, with many players playing on at least two different teams per week.

This guy is getting in a nice pre-game stretch as he watched the first game of the night wrap up.

The goalie from the winning team does a nice cool down stretch.

Players from opposing teams for the second game watch and warm-up in anticipation.

There is a lot happening on the field at league night, but it looks like everyone had a great time.
