Gaskill, Photo Assignment #4

These brightly-colored acrylic lawn signs were this year's big seller at Ocean City, MD's Sunfest celebration. Event-goers couldn't walk more than fifteen steps in any direction without seeing the brightly colored flowers or fun pet signs.

Sunfest event-goers got to speak with military members and learn about their equipment as they sat in this official truck.

The sky threatened rain all day at Sunfest, but participants kept the party going under brightly-colored umbrellas.

Though Ocean City's long-time "Boardwalk Elvis," Norman Webb, passed away in June, a new Elvis is geriatrically-gyrating his way into the boardwalk vendor scene.

Sunfest weekend traditionally marks the end of tourist season on Ocean City's boardwalk, and the evidence of the end of the summer was great when walking through desolate Trimper's Rides.
